Part Time Retail Sales Position

We are currently looking to add to our retail team in our new location in Bloor West Village.

 

Who We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable team member who enjoys helping people and creating a welcoming in-store experience. You’re kind, approachable, and comfortable engaging with customers to offer thoughtful recommendations and support.

You take initiative, work well independently and with a team, and care about keeping the space organized and inviting. 

You enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment but are equally comfortable staying productive during slower periods.

Benefits Working Here:

  • Flexible Part Time Position: 20-30 hours (4 days/wk)

  • Hourly wage: $20/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Provide an exceptional experience to all customers you interact with

  • Recommend appropriate options to customers looking for items for themselves, their kids or assisting in picking out the perfect gift

  • Create and maintain meaningful relationships with customers, engage with customers in a kind and courteous manner

  • Facilitate the checkout process using our POS system

  • Assist in receiving product shipments and prepare online orders

  • In store merchandising support

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

  • Assist with store opening and closing procedures

  • Monitor and maintain product presentation and signage

Qualifications:

  • Reliable

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Excellent communication (written + verbal) and interpersonal skills

  • Non-judgemental

  • Genuine interest in natural health/sustainable living

  • Self-starter attitude, highly motivated

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized

  • Follows directions well, asks questions when clarification is needed

  • Great attention to detail

  • Good problem-solving abilities

  • Somewhat flexible schedule

Bonus Assets (preferred, but to required):

  • Retail or sales experience
  • Experience using Shopify

  • Knowledge of/interest in supplements, natural skincare, sustainable living and/or baby products
